FINN LESLIE

At just 17 years old, Finn Leslie made his British Touring Car Championship debut with Toyota Gazoo Racing team with IAA at Oulton Park.

It’s a dream move for the Wakefield-born talent, joining one of the grid’s most prestigious outfits, run by the legendary Speedworks Motorsport.

Finn’s rapid rise through the ranks has been anything but ordinary. After proving his race-winning pace in the fiercely competitive BRSCC Fiesta Junior Mk7 Championship in 2024, he went on to impress in the TCR UK grid, where his natural race craft and composure under pressure caught the attention of the paddock.

His BTCC debut wasn’t just a step up, it was a statement. With points secured on his first weekend in the UK’s top-level touring car series, Finn showed he belongs among the best.

Combining maturity beyond his years with raw speed, Finn’s journey is only just beginning.

THE JOURNEY SO FAR

What began as a dream behind the wheel of a kart has grown into a full-blown racing career.

Finn started racing at the age of 8, quickly making a name for himself on the karting scene with multiple podiums and a standout win at the prestigious MSA Kartmasters GP. In 2023, he transitioned into car racing with the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship — winning his debut race at Silverstone and ultimately securing the Mk7 class title in 2024.

Now, in 2025, Finn steps up again, joining the TCR UK Touring Car Championship as part of the first-ever Junior Touring Car Programme.

2025 SEASON: TCR UK DEBUT

The 2025 season marks a huge step forward for Finn as he makes his debut in the TCR UK Touring Car Championship, competing in a Hyundai i30 N TCR with the highly respected Power Maxed Racing team.

As part of the first-ever Junior Touring Car Program, Finn joins a new wave of young talent making the move from junior racing to full touring car machinery. The cars are fast, aggressive, and incredibly competitive — with multi-manufacturer grids and races often decided by tenths of a second.

Racing at circuits like Donington Park, Brands Hatch, Snetterton, and Silverstone, TCR UK demands not just speed but strategy, consistency, and resilience. Each weekend includes free practice, qualifying, and two fiercely contested races in front of packed crowds and under national motorsport scrutiny.

TCR UK is one of the fastest-growing series in Britain, attracting entries from rising stars, seasoned professionals, and top-level engineering talent.

Official TCR UK coverage is available via YouTube and Sky Sports F1, giving Finn’s supporters a chance to follow his progress all year long.
